I've participated a few amazing festivals, but the Richmond Folk Festival was the best, by far. (Sorry, Tanglewood, PMF. Take that, Aspen.) Amazing artists, fabulous food, and the festival staff and volunteers are just about the nicest people you'll ever meet. And the most enthusiastic 185,000 audience members, ever.
