We are in Montana

Billings, to be specific.

Population: 103,000 (largest city in Montana)
Elevation: 3,124 ft
Hotel: the Crowne Plaza, which is either the tallest or second tallest building in Montana.

Today: school show (800 kids). Video here.
Tomorrow: another school show (1,100 kids) and a concert.

More importantly - the snacks:

We've been to a few places here so far: Log Cabin Bakery (decent blueberry scones), McCormick Cafe (super-super friendly people), Jake's Steakhouse (nice spinach salads), and the Good Earth Market (nice and crunchy).

Today, we had lunch at the Athenian, which had Chinese food. (No, not really.)

The gyros were yummo. But the falafel were a little to gum-shreddingly crunchy.

Loyal readers might remember our multiple trips to a certain chocolate shop in Jacksonville. Today, we came upon Brockel's Chocolates, and this one had caramel apples and hand-dipped ice cream bars. Need I say more?
